Welcome to Winter! It already feels like it has been an eternity of shivering and cold. Less time outside means we have lots of fun planned at Hamilton indoors.
We held our first Bingo Night on January 20th. I would like to offer a huge thank you to Kathleen and Dave Schmidt for putting it together and making it a fun night for everyone who attended. We can’t wait to do it again next year and we learned a lot from the first round.
We just held our third grade Husky Café and the fourth and fifth grades are coming up right around the corner. This program continues to be a wonderful way to combine a fun experience with learning manners and key social skills. It is so much fun to watch.
The Hamilton Musical, True Colors in full swing and rehearsals are already proving to be lots of fun and very productive. The show will be on Saturday, March 17th at 11:00am and 2:00pm and we hope you can all come out and see the end result of this incredible collaboration.
Our Spring fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st and the committee is busy planning a new and updated event that I believe will prove to be not only a successful fundraiser for our school, but an enormously fun night out for the parents. I hope it will be the first of many of its kind. Save the date and many more details to come! If you are interested in helping out with the planning, please get in touch with me.
Our monthly HSA meeting will be on Tuesday, February 14th at 9am in the media center. If you have not come to one of the meetings, consider giving it a try. It is meant to be an opportunity to productively share ideas, concerns and news about our school. Every single person’s participation if valuable as we all want what is best for the children. We love to see new faces and welcome you to the table.
Stay warm and enjoy the season! Feel free to get in touch any time.
